Hi. I have been trying for days now to figure out how to install this theme: http://art4linux.org/node/674
But i can't seem to find out how. I'm not familiar with linux at all yet, and i have searched alot on google too. But something tells me that i'm searhing wrong. Because i simply just don't know how to install. and everyone else seems to know how. So i feel a bit stupid. I simply just don't understand the install instructions :-/

Can some please give me a nugde in the right direction?

Ohh, i am by the way using Ubuntu Hardy 8.04 and i have succesfully installed compiz, and the cube and all those "standard" things :-)

EDIT: So no one wanna answer? I'm pretty sure most of you guys could tell me this in minutes?

Hello Morten Linux

welcome to the ubuntu world

the main reason you cannot install that theme is because you are using gnome (ubuntu) and not kde (kubuntu). These are different desktop environments and theme for one cannot be installed on the other and vice-versa. For gnome you can find interesting themes in www.gnome-look.org.

Hope that helps and that you can find a theme that pleases you. Or maybe you can switch from gnome to kde. Take a look at these great tutorials and explanations: http://www.psychocats.net/ubuntu/kdegnome
