My computer shuts down entirely after I leave it on while idle for about an hour. It's set to never hibernate, and hibernating shouldn't do this anyway. Is there an option I don't know about, and how do I get it to not do this?

hmm... thats strange

is it possible that your screensaver is causing the problem?
(thats the only thing i could think of thats on a timer, that or the hibernate option)

i know on my computer i can't set it to hibernate because it will just shutdown (dunno why)

Yeah, my screensaver doesn't have a different hibernate setting, although I could try turning it off entirely... the odd thing is after I turn it back on it saved what I was doing, what programs where open, ect, so it seems like a really weird attempt to hibernate to me...
