I am waiting for a laptop from ebay to show up any day now and i want to burn ubuntu to CD.
My old laptop works but the monitor keeps going otu and after 5 times of opening and closing to get it to turn on again it goes off into standby mode.
I have a desktop monitor that i can plug into my laptop but when XP boots up it will not let me use my desktop monitor.
what can i press on my dell laptop to make my desktop monitor to work?
