I currently have a working box running on knoppmyth connected to the TV, but have been playing with mythbuntu on a test machine. Before I make the plunge to migrate to mythbuntu I was thinking it would be good to install it on a portable usb harddrive so that I can boot to mythbuntu to make sure I can get everything working successfully on the hardware in that box.
Can I install a bootable version of mythbuntu onto a usb harddrive?
If so can I do the installation to the usb device from another computer or does the hardware need to be detected?
