HI,
I have a 24" aluminum iMac, and I'm already running XP Pro using Parallels. I have Leopard going on this iMac as well.

I am wondering....Could I ALSO partition the main hard drive using boot camp and install Ubuntu in a dual boot? Or would the partition plus the virtual machine be too stressful on the hard drive? Or on the iMac in general?

Maybe this is a stupid question; if so, my apologies...

Thanks for any replies,....Frank B.

It should work just fine. Parallels is hard on a processor, not the hard drive. The processor won't care that you have a partitioned hard drive. Once partitioned, for all intents and purposes, the second partition acts as an external hard drive.
So yeah, give it a shot.

Ubuntu, Windows and Leopard on the same computer, sounds interesting.
