A few weeks ago my Mythbuntu setup started randomly jumping back or forward in the middle of a recording. I then noticed that during live playback it would occassionaly bring up the OSD showing the next channel up or down. It is acting as if it has received an up or down command from my remote but I'm not pressing anything. Sometimes the remote (MCE2) is even well out of visual contact.
This started happening before I upgraded to 8.04. I then upgraded hoping it would fix it but no dice. I had been just upgrading items whenever I was prompted so I don't know what had prompted the issue.
I've now unplugged the IR USB remote sensor just to double-check there is no false signal coming from the sensor or remote. This happens roughly every 30mins.
Is there a way to log all the commands received from the IR sensor?
Can anyone think of another way to pinpoint what is causing this as it is really annoying and I can't find anyone else with the same problem?
