Hardy comes with Pulse Audio and apparently it allows to easily manage multiple sound cards.

All the posts that I have found are from before the Hardy release so I was wondering how do we configure Ubuntu (Hardy) to output across multiple sound cards?

I have a Creative Audigy PCMCIA card and the on board intel sound card. I would like both to just work when I plug in my pcmcia sound card.

What is the best way to configure this?
Thanks in advance for all the help

you have a similiar setup as I do! So I'd be interested in knowing the answers/solutions to your questions too :)

Also, in paprefs there is a Simultaneous Output tab. "Add virtual output device for simultaneous output on all local sound cards."
