Hi all, I've played around with Linux off and on for a couple years but never get too far past a week or two because I get tired of things not working. Use to use Fedora but decided to try Ubuntu on many recommendations. So far I'm happy! I have an HP dv2845se which is AMD64. I'm trying to get my WUSB54G v1 to work but can't. I've looked all over but only see old threads for x32. Does anyone have any help on getting the thing to work?

What about a Garmin Rino 530 USB? I've looked around for both and just haven't found answers. Any help would be great. Thanks!.

I have my Rino 530 working somewhat. I can't find where it's mounted in the dev folder but gpsbable can read from it using usb: -- I'm trying to use it with gpsd.

The WUSB54G I used ndsiwrapper and the 32 bit driver from the CD. It shows as the device is present on the GUI window but can't find it anywhere else.

Any help? Thanks.
