Hey folks,

I am trying to wean myself off iTunes and would appreciate if anyone could help me add some podcasts. Obviously, if you know the actual xml file it is easy, but some places make you add it through an "itunes" link that goes through Apple's website. Having Rhythmbox open this type of file doesn't help.

The two podcasts I wanted to subscribe two are:

http://abc.go.com/primetime/lost/index?pn=podcast#t=3421

and a couple from

http://sports.espn.go.com/espnradio/podcast/index

Any help will be appreciated.

I was actually just on here looking for the same advice. I've installed Amarok on 7.10, and I can't even get that to play MP3's. Any help on the best program would make my Ubuntu extra tasty.

Did you try the rss link in the ESPN podcast? I just veiwed the rss and it seems to contain links to the mp3 files.
