I have WUSB11 v4, usb wireless device - which I want to use it on Ubuntu ,

It's installed using ndiswrapper + win driver, which works when no security (wep/wpa) BUT when wep/wpa enabled on the router it says no dhcp offers

Some mentions of -perhaps the device cant support wep/wpa ...it 100% does, I tried connecting to a wireless network using both WEP and WPA using the WUSB11 v4 under Windows - which worked!

I have tried manually setting the /etc/network/interfaces file for wep/wpa , but to no joy

Someone must have an idea?

Thanks

Mark

I was having this same problem, my key that I had written down was a hex, not a keyword. I was useing WEP encryption so try that.
