Sound Problems

Was wondering if any1 has the same problem and me and has found a way to fix it.

I noticed a pattern with my sound whenver i use Skype i can't watch youtube or watch any online videos or play CSS with cedega BUT i am able to play MP3 in my Audacious player. But when i watch videos on youtube i am unable to play MP3 songs on my audacious player BUT i am able to play CSS with cedega.

Any idea? Sounds weird i know :lolflag:
All i know is that my soundcard is an onboard soundcard and what i can remember from my windows days was that it was called SigmaTel.

This could be a number of different things, but it sounds like the issue is between Skype and the PulseAudio sound server. Try starting your applications from the terminal and capturing the error output.

I just upgraded and had similar issues. I followed this: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/PulseAudio ,the installation/configuring and known issues, and got it working.
