My TV-card Pinnacle PCTV 310i seems to be detected but no channels can be found in Mythbuntu 8.10.
When using Ubuntu 7.10 with MythTV I had it working after adding firmwares using get_dvb_firmware. It worked perfectly except for a few channels which sent ac3 sound. I couldn't get any sound at all from those channels.
I tried to make a clean install with Mythbuntu 8.10. I have read that there should be better support for ac3 sound in that release.
It seemed like Mythbuntu 8.10 didn't need any additional firmware for my TV card so I tried to set everything up directly. Everything went well until I was about to scan for channels. No channels were found.
I tried to add the firmwares I had in previous installation but with no luck.
Because I already have made a clean install, I tried to install Ubuntu 7.10 again, adding the firmwares and install MythTV. Everything worked again.
Does anybody know what to do to get the Pinnacle PCTV 310i working in 8.10?
