Hi,

I shifted from kubuntu to ubuntu and am hugely satisfied.
Ubuntu gutsy and kubuntu gutsy are worlds apart... Ubuntu is really nice..

But theres one thing i really miss from kubuntu.. and that is Amarok

There is one feature in Amarok that i really miss..

Amarok also filters on the path as well.. given a search word..

Suppose i have organised my music in to folders ... and the hierarchy goes like this

Music
.....Rock
.........Metallica
.........GNR
.........etc
.....Metal
........etc
.....Pop
........MJ
........etc
.....Trance
...........Goa
...........etc

Say i load my library with Music folder.. where my whole collection is on the playlist
Suppose i search for rock, the results should throw up all media within Rock folder as well...

That happens in Amarok..
Ive tried.. Listen, Exaile, Rhytmbox and Banshee as well

Hope i get the point across..

I dont want to put in KDE packages..

Is there a player for GNOME which does that? apart from the ones mentioned above

Thanks in advance
