Hi
I'm a newbe so what I ask is propably simple and a case of can't see the obvious.
Anyway, when I go Places/Network I only get Windows network but cannot see my other ubuntu machine. However if I change to windows machine I can perfectly see it, access shared folders or find network printers.
Could someone help me with that, then I'll promise I will only use win xp for playing games..:)
Kind regards
Sokol

By default, Ubuntu can't be seen by windows. You need samba. This guy explains it perfectly here:

M sorted, next time will read help section first.
So other people know, need to create a shared folder then right click and choose shared folder option, next easy peasy as ubuntu does the rest.
Thanks for your help anyway
