View Full Version : [ubuntu] K3B does not see my other HDDs

I've only been using Ubuntu for a couple of months but thus far K3B is the only burning tool I have found that does DVD-video and not just DVD data (I have .VOBs .BUPs and .IFOs placed in a VIDEO_TS folder all working and ready to go). Problem is that my video data resides on a different HDD than Ubuntu and K3B will only show me the OS disk.

Is there a way I can persuade K3B to show me all the HDDs in my box? Alternatively, is there a better tool or method in Ubuntu for preparing DVD video discs? I've been jumping back into XP to use Nero for these jobs.

Thank-you,

Open up K3b, and in the folder bar under Tools write
whatever your other HD drive is, like mine could be /52gb/ or /147gb/ and in the filter section dropbar set it to All files.
Offcource your drives have to be mounted

Figured it out - 'twas noob confusion. Needed to browse to /media/<hdd label>. I blame a Windows hangover that leaves me feeling helpless without drive letters.
