I am using TightVNC to connect. I've checked that it is enabled, but I just can't contact the machine. It does not require the Ubuntu box to aproove the remote control. It worked in 7.10 but just doesn't in 8.04. Any idea what's wrong?

No I have not installed any firewalls, unless it is not in the default install I have no firewall.

I found out the problem was that I had disabled internet logins, even though I log in with the internal name for the computer using a physical LAN computer.
