I have an IBM thinkpad t42p with the following specs:
Intel(R) Pentium(R) M processor 1.80GHz
ATI MOBILITY FIRE GL T2
Intel PRO/Wireless LAN 2100 3B Mini PCI Adapter

Will these be compatible with ubuntu?

Your best bet is going to be to download the cd and boot it up in live mode... searching the forums I see several other users on this machine, with minor (and resolved) problems, so my bet is you'll be like most other users - it will work great for 99.9% of things. Only odd things like fingerprint scanners, etc, still have issues or don't work.
