Help very very new to this but have been trying to sort out my NAS lacie drives. I'm using KUBUNTU 8.04 with kde 4. Yesterday i finished downloading a film on the machine and wanted to save it onto the lacie (nas) i ended uo installing smb4k or k4 cant remember the spelling, but wow 700 took nearly three hours.
The reason i installed the smb4k films and streaming if i dont use it i cant (somebody help here please) stream my films from the nas to the kubuntu desktop.
So could anybody help me with a better quicker way please, the NAS is password protected if that makes any difference.
