UTube has no sound

I get sound on everything else even DVDs after I installed a bunch of codec packages but UTube has no sound. I get the video just fine.

hmm, what about java, did you install the java plug in?
I know some issues with youtube come from java.

omg I feel so stupid.

The first video I checked had no sound. I freaked out and started looking for a problem and couldnt find anything. So, I went back and tried a different video and it worked with the sound and everything. Turns out the first video I tried wasnt supposed to have sound at all. :(
