Hey new here and new to Ubuntu! I downloaded Banshee and copied a CD to the music list. It works, BUT I have 4 speakers and only 2 are playing. Everything appears to be hooked up correctly so I'm not sure if it's the computer or a Banshee problem. Any ideas?

Thanks!!

Have you tried using any other media players? Like rythymbox or amarok? anything you can find or have really.

Yes, I've downloaded both and still getting only 2 of the speakers.

did you make sure your settings aren't set to have sound to off balance? so it's only using half the speakers?

I didn't see that setting - I'll check when I get home. Hope that works.

Thank you!!

Hope that's all it is! Should be under the sound settings.

Only thing I've found is "sound preferences" and there's nothing in there about balance. Am I in the wrong place? :)

I've looked through anything I could find about "surround sound" but nothing seems to work. Anybody that has any idea, please help!

Thanks!
