After few hours try to run the live cd, i got it work with boot option acpi=off noapic nolapic

after installation i tried to set the vga driver to use SiS driver, but no luck at all. i had try all the way i found in this forum, but got same result. finally i choose vesa driver and set my screen to LCD monitor 1280x800 + widescreen, then logoff. after re-login, it gave me better looks with resolution 1280x768....not too bad.

just thinking, may be i will more lucky with SiS driver if i can get my laptop run Hardy with acpi=on or with normal boot.

atleast i have Hardy running on my laptop, it doesn't matter with the feature i can't get coz of the acpi=off.

i just hope anyone can get better thing with different way on installing Hardy on TVS-618 or TVS-612/22..if so please share it here....always waiting. O:)
