IR Blaster Configuration Issues

Hello,

I'm trying to configure an IR blaster to work with my digital cable box. I'm using Mythbunutu 7.10 with teh default lirc. The remote itself works, and I'm trying to get the blaster working.

I'm using the Microsoft MCE remote. The model number is 1039, and based on the picture in the MCE Remote walkthrough, it's a Version 2 (with no coloured buttons). I can tell that the IR transmitter is trasmitting (I placed a peice of paper infront of the transmitter and see the flash of red when I send a command). I'm working with a Scientific American Explorer 2100 digital cable box.

I suspect that I have the wrong codes that are being sent to the digital box.

Can anyone give me any advice?

I've done some more research. I need to find the codes for the Scientific Altantic Explorer 2100. I can find codes for the 2000, but the when I drop those codes into lircd the reciever doesn't respond to the remote and the irsend doesn't recognize it either.
