If according to the Canonical press release:
"VMWare is Canonical's premier partner on virtualization with whom we have jointly created the JeOS flavor of Ubuntu Server Edition to offer a optimized guest for VMWare Server or ESX.
VMWare also provides VMWare Server at no charge form the partner repository."
then why isn't vmware-server in the partner repository for Ubuntu 8.04 and why isn't vmware-server maintained in the partner repository for Ubuntu 7.10?
