I let my Toshiba Satellite notebook upgrade from 7.10 to 8.04 a few nights ago.
Two major problems after the upgrade.
My D-Link AB650 wireless card quit working.
Evolution Email...the Send/Receive button is greyed out.
I am connected by normal Cat5 patch cable at the moment typing this message so normal "wired" networking works fine.
Any help would be greatly appreciated...and the more detailed the better as I am relatively new to Unix/Linux/Ubuntu but have 35 years of experience with everything from IBM mainframes and minicomputers to Windows PC's of all flavors.
I am finding Ubuntu to be GREAT when it works...which *is* most of the time...but a real pain when it doesn't...which is my current situation.
