Hi all,

I didn't have this problem with the old version of Ubuntu (7.10), but with Hardy I can't seem to suss it out.

My Compaq has no DVD/CDrom drive, so I installed ubuntu onto the HDD using another laptop. Transferred it over, it boots fine. However, in Hardy 8.04 I cannot seem to set up the touchscreen pen and tablet modes for this laptop. I would love to set this up as I primarily use it for presentations using OO Presentation, plus writing studies and teaching notes.

Thanks

Rich

I'm having the same trouble with mine. The Ubuntu documentation says that we'll have to follow the instructions here:

Change the driver to linuxwacom-0.8.0-2.tar.bz2 instead of linuxwacom-0.8.0.tar.bz2 and the instructions work for the tc4200.
