I am really enjoying the new Ubuntu 8.04 and my new Inspiron 1525N. Thanks to Dell for having the balls to offer a computer with a non Microsoft software on it, and thanks to everyone who contributes to the Ubuntu project.

I have been a big fan of Ubuntu for a few years now, I actually loaded it on my Inspiron 1501 a couple of years back. Having used slackware and redhat, I found Ubuntu way more user friendly and an actual alternative to Windows. Recently, I have decided to try and change my career over to IT. So, I had to load Vista on my 1501. I have been chomping at the bit to get a new Ubuntu laptop from Dell, and finally did.

I don't have a problem with mac's or windows computers, but I am so excited about Ubuntu, and see the endless possibilities with it. Keep up the good work Ubuntu!

Yea, I run an Inspiron 1521, but couldn't get it working well with 8.04, so I went back to 7.10. I'm fine with that, and I'll probably be getting a Dell laptop with Ubuntu pre-installed next.
