Hi,

I noticed something cool on Ubuntu the first time I installed it, I was able to switch workspaces by clicking on a couple of little squares at the right-bottom side of the screen. But there are just two... is it possible to add one more? or could it cause trouble shooting?

Yup.

Right-click on that very same icon, select preferences and have it your way.

That is pretty sweet. I like the fact that you can have an odd number like 3 of them. :)

Turn on desktop effects, hit control-alt and right or left arrow and you'll really be surprised. :)

Lazyart, we both know that depends on how you configure those effects. I've got mine to simply switch the way the Mac does, no cubes or anything. My graphicscard isn't all that great... <sob>
