Hi All, I'm absolute beginner. I plan to switch to Linux from XP. Ubuntu is available on English language. My keyboard is Hungarian. I have special caracters and some of the caracters have different location on the keybord. In windows I have the possibility to choose Hungarian from the settings. In that case the OS language is still English but I can use my Hungarian keyboard. Is there any solution for that in Ubuntu? Or in that case I can't use Ubuntu and I need to download the Hungarian version of Debian?

You can install Ubuntu in a variety of languages and you can choose from a plethora of keyboard layouts, even after you install. Language support in Ubuntu is probably better than in window$.

Yes, you can add a Keyboard Indicator to your Panel and use it like you do in Windows. Also you can add multiple language support by right-clicking on it and going into the configuration so You'll have no problems there.
