I have been using Ununtu 6.10 for awhile, but I can't figure out this. what does it mean when it says acpi force. I was trying to install 7.10 on my pc but It gives me that error. but I found out that that error works isn't why it isn't working.

Also can you install ubuntu 7.10 ona 16 meg video card.

I have more questions. can ubunt 7.10 run on a pc that is a pentium 3 450 megahertz 384 ram 16 medg video card. Can it run okay or at least decent with no lag. or problems.

THe reason I am asking that is everytime I try to run ubuntu 7.10 it loads and everything but when it gets to the screen or window. my pcs monoitor goes black like it is in sleep mode.

Could you please help me with those problems.

One more thing. WHer can I find a Ubuntu online study guide so I can learn how to run Ubuntu more. I learned just a bit. I mean I have learned allot but with what I learned I am still not hitting the Tip of the Ice burg.

Hmm with 450MHz i recommend Xubuntu. It uses XFCE rather than Gnome so it's lighter :)

But im sure 16MB is enough for a video card.
I used to run Ubuntu on my Intel with 8MB
