Hi there guys just got ubuntu installed again at last. downloaded gcc but the include files havnt downloaded. And i cant for the life of me rember the package that they are in on the repositry system can anyone rember/find out (ie look at there include folder and open stdio.h to see what package it came in!!!)
Anything will be welcome

sudo apt-get install build-essential

nope didnt do it :(
cheers all the same through any other ideas i know i downloaded a package frm the system repositires last time but cant rember waht it is called (sorry if spelling is wrong)

It is build-essential not build-essentail.
Swap your I and A at the end and try again...
