Hello-
So I finally decided to jump into the Linux world, and its been significantly less painful than I expected. However, one problem I've been having is getting my monitor to run at its native resolution. I have an Optiquest Viewsonic Q20wb-1 (20" widescreen @ 1680x1050 native res). It did not seem to autoconfigure correctly, because I can only run to a max screen res of 1280x800. I found the manual for the monitor online, and it gave me the horizontal and vertical refresh rates for my monitor, which I added to the xorg.conf file. I have not been able to find anything that tells me where to go from here. I assume there is another line that I need to add to the xorg.conf file, but I'm not sure the correct format for my particular monitor. Thanks for any help.
