I posted in this thread but I think it is old and not open anymore:
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=626720

I have a Intel Mac Mini 1.66 GHz Intel Core Duo with 1 GB DDR2 SDRAM.

I want to know if it is possible to install ubuntu server edition on this system with no OSX at all. I don't care about graphics as I expect to be using command line on the server edition. I figured I would ask since Bootcamp is no longer an option and I cannot afford to go by some other package that lets me setup dual booting. I once tried with the older server version of ubuntu server but I could not get it to work, not even with refit. Has anyone accomplished this? if so can you tell me what I need to do to get this to install and bootup?

Thanks for any help you can offer.
