Hardy Heron Drivers

Could somebody answer me why if video drivers worked just fine with Ubuntu 7.10, now they do not work with Ubuntu 8.04?

Could be a kernel module issue, could you please elaborate as to what drivers you are referring to?

i dont know what his problem is but my drivers arent even listed under hardware devices....?

Well, we'd need to know what videocard you're using. The output from one neat terminal command to get us started would be this.
$ lshw -C video
