Dell Bluetooth Keyboard and Mouse Multimedia Keys Not Working!

Hello! this is my first post in this community. I'm a noob when it comes to Linux but I have advanced technical skills when it comes to computers, so any solutions you have for my issue I'll be able to apply.

I have a Dell Bluetooth Keyboard and Mouse bundle:

I have Ubuntu 7.10 (Gutsy) installed in my PC and my multimedia keys were working just fine until I added Ubuntu Studio to my existing Ubuntu installation following the steps in this "how-to": http://www.ubustu.com/globe/2007/05/23/add-ubuntu-studio-to-an-existing-ubuntu-install/.

I want to continue using Ubuntu Studio, but for some reason my multimedia keys AND volume knob stopped working after I did that.

Also, the back and forward buttons on the side of my mouse don't work, but this has been a problem since I installed Ubuntu 7.10.

Any solution will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! :)

I am currently messing around with keyTouch (http://keytouch.sourceforge.net/) they don't have that particular keyboard supported, but through the editor you may be able to get it working. It's worth a shot.

Any ideas for the mouse's back and forward side buttons?
