I’ve tried searching the forum for “disable dim idle” to figure out a way to keep Ubuntu from going dim when idle but I’m not finding anything. The problem is that when my Vostro 1500 laptop is plugged in, and not plugged in, it goes dim after 20 seconds of idle, which is pretty, but it doesn’t turn the brightness back up to the proper level when reactivated. I would love if this feature worked correctly, but since it doesn’t, how do I disable it?
(PS – disabling from the power management doesn’t seem to do it.)
