Hardy logs my out.

Two or three times in the past week have been using firefox 3 and all of sudden Hardy just logs me out. I was worried that this could be an issue with overheating. I installed lmsensors and my temperature seems pretty normal for a laptop, 50 degrees celsius. I am using an Nvidia graphics card and have Compiz enabled. Any clues?
