LDAP server - outlook contacts dont list

Hi,

I setup a Ubuntu OpenLDAP server and got it all configured correctly but when i add the ldap outlook address book the contacts dont list unless i search for something specific. Can anyone with many years experience tell me if it is possible to get it to list at all? I have searched the net only to be disappointed. This is a big problem it seems.

ill update myself. easiest way i found to get a list is to just suck it up and insert a space in the search box. Silly limitation but remote maintenance of ldap contacts by any designated user trumps the inconvenince of no auto list like the M$ products.
