Hi all,

I was just wondering if anyone is aware of canonical's intentions on supplying updates for openjdk. Are they planning on issuing bug fixes, or will the just leave the original version in place indefinately like they do with Sun's JRE/JDK packages? It'd be nice if I could just update my jre/jdk with apt-get for a change.
Same goes for NetBeans, the version currently in the repos is obsolete already, replaced by 6.1. I've installed it manually, but again I'd like it to auto-update via apt-get instead. Will that happen?
Finally, and perhaps most importantly, will tomcat 6 make it into the repos any time soon?

Cheers!
