Hi, I didint have an active internet connection till now so couldn't upgrade evrey thing UbUNTU7.10. I got Vlc thru apt-get and well i can play anything on it, but if i move out of the pc , ie i go to sleep or let the computer go unmonitored for some times the vlc is missing. It also happened when i accidentally closed Vlc earlier while playing a movie.
The VLC player plays sound but i cannot see its interface, and even the system monitor does not show VLC's exsistance. The player is not anywhere on my desktops to be seen But it keeps palying songs after other till i restart. IS THERE A BETTER TASK MANGER software?
