Yes I have the same problem since 1 or 2 weeks and no solution.

Ubuntu version: Hardy

Workaround: Deactivate Google calender in evolution. I will try it this evening.

Yes, I have checked at home. If I deactivate Google calender in Evolution the applet doesn't crash anymore.

But this is no solution only a workaround.
