Hi guys!Have a little problem here.I need to install kubuntu 7.04,but when i start LiveCD and enter to the desktop my mouse isn't working at all.The keyboard is working properly,I tryed to configure mouse by using

>dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg

But it gave me no result.

My mouse is in the standard port(I guess). It's stadrard mouse:Gembird.I wanted to install OS using only a keyboard, but it's kinda tricky.

Now I'm sitting @ Windowz...

How to make Kubuntu to see my mouse?
---------
Sorry for bad english

What is the standard port? Is it a USB?
Post the output of the following command here:

Plus, Kubuntu 7.04 isn't LTS, is it? :( You should try fetching the latest Ubuntu version (8.04 LTS) or get it ordered from shipit.ubuntu.com

It's not a USB mouse. It's entered it in green port behid the PC,there's no unusual in this mouse,I don't know what's the point...

And I can't install Kubuntu 8.04 on this PC,because it's old,and I'm afraid on new Kubuntu his won't work fast.
