I have managed to get Display Doctor running in Windows 98 in VirtualBox (Does anyone have a serial - please!!), however I still cannot get the sound working. I downloaded the Realtek AC'97 drivers for Windows 98. However it said that I'd need DirectX. I installed the Windows 98 version and went back to Realtek. I install realtek, and it tells me that it is searching for drivers on the reboot. However it then causes the dreaded Windows 98 Blue Screen of Death!:sad:

The error is:
Fatal exception OE at 0028:C0014FD0

What does this mean, and how do I install sound drivers to get sound in a Windows 98 virtualbox??

I know this is very difficult and Windows 98 is all but dead, however I'd really like to get this running as there are some games I'd like to play such as Transport Tycoon. They will not run on Windows XP, and I highly doubt Wine would be any good either.

don't worry about the serial, I found a crack in a dark corner of the internet which worked! :) Now if only those audio drivers would work, it would be excellent!:)

I have been searching the internet for solutions to this problem, people have said to use the Windows 95 drivers, however when I try them, the installation wizard says only Windows 95 is supported. I even tried installing the Creative Sound Blaster drivers that came with our original 98 computer, and they don't work either. HOW do I get sound on Win 98 with virtual box?? There must be some way those people are installing the 95 drivers without using the install wizard directly. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP, I'VE BEEN STUCK ON THIS ALL WEEK!!
