Hi everyone!
I have a homefileserver with LAMP and Samba installed and it worked fine with 7.10. I just reformatted the Operating System drive and installed 8.04... now everything works except for samba...
When the server boots up it gives me this message

66.284632] v7596_smbus 000:00:07:4 SMBus base address uninitialized - upgrade BIOS or use force_addr=0xaddr
[ 67.798720] via686a 0000:00:07.4: base address not set - upgrade BIOS or use force_addr=0xaddr
* Reloading /etc/samba/smb.conf smbd only

Now I have no idea what any of that means... but judging from the last line it's stopping some part of samba from running... now I'd really like to be able to get this going so any insight you could provide would be awesome!

Thanks!
Matthew!
