Dose anybody think that ubuntu will ever start making distributions for powerpc? The past few versions have all not been offically supported. I would think at least a long term supported version would be ppc supported?

It would be really nice if they would because drapper doesn't have any new versions of programs like firefox.

If I remember correctly, they decided to discontinue the powerpc versions due to lack of demand. Since Apple went over to x86 the main target for an Ubuntu powerpc version is old Macs, and most Mac owners use OSX anyway.

I suggest you change to Debian or some other distribution that actively support the powerpc architecture.
