When it comes to computer hardware, I am absolutely retarded. Literally, I will buy things that in no way shape or form are what I was looking for. I don't know what it is, I don't know why it is, all I know is I'm retarded. I freely admit it, without shame.
I recently purchased a Roland Juno-G, and as I understand it, it supports Compact Flash cards as external storage, via a PC Card adaptor. I have no idea what any of that means. So I'd like someone out there in Ubuntu land to take a look at the specs for the Roland below
http://www.roland.com/products/en/JUNO-G/specs.html
And go out and find me a site (preferably with good prices) that will let me buy specifically what I am looking for, both the card and the adaptor. No reading or thinking involved on my part, just the page and the add to cart option.
Thank you!

I checked the driver page (http://www.roland.com/products/en/_support/dld.cfm?ln=en&dsp=0&iCncd=1069), and this device does not have a GNU/Linux driver. In short, it will not work with Ubuntu or any other GNU/Linux version.

:lolflag: I guess so. If ask there, maybe they'll tell me what the capital of Wisconsin is... sounds about as relevent to my problem as some of the other responses I've gotten so far....:-\"

Oh my god.... why was this moved to Windows discussion? We aren't discussing Windows, we're discussing musical instruments. Sometimes this forum can be so ridiculous...

No, but I'll give you thanks just for being the first person to try to answer my question
:D
So how does this work? I stick it into the back of my Juno, then stick in a flashcard?

couldn't be easier, will only fit one way, just slides in. if you're not sure, take the roland's manual to the nearest local pc shop (keep away from the big chains!), and get them to order one if they don't have the stock, what they may charge extra is what you'd pay for shipping anyway.
best of luck
