IRC geeks how do I set xchat to auot open and idle in a channel

I'm taking part in an idlerpg on irc and would like to set xchat to auotlogin into a channel and login in case of powercut.

Open Xchat

Xchat -> Server list

Select server -> Edit

Add channel(s) to "Channels to join" , comma delineated list (#chann1,#chann2)

Save

Then , Check off "autoconnect to this network at startup"
