Is there a program available for Ubuntu, such as VirtualBox, that supports using the host computers graphics card in the guest OS?

if you mean direct hardware access for opengl/direct3d, no that's not possible at this time. you will have to use something like Wine (http://www.winehq.org/) instead of virtualization software for that.
