Basically, tell what you think are the most influential/helpful/legendary/awesome sites ever. Or any other word that has to do with best. I just want to hear about cool sites basically :P
Helpful:
Wikipedia
Influential:
Suprnova (I only was on it before I knew how to use torrents, but from what ive heard, it was the best)
Legendary:
Slashdot (I dont even go on it, but if one posting on it can kill a sites servers, that definitally means something ;))

Many pictures on APOD (http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/astropix.html) are truly awesome.
As for helpful, there's some site called...ubuntuforums.org I think it is... :)

More votes for Wikipedia and the hot-bed of dreadful journalism and rampant zealotry that is slashdot :) Incidentally, those who read slashdot religiously (like me, alas) might want to check out a script I wrote called slashdotgrab (http://tastethegoonage.com/slashdotgrab.html) - it makes reading the site a little easier, especially if you are reading a still-unfolding comments section and don't want to keep track of which posts you've already read. This version only works with the new, CSS-powered site.
For sheer awesomeness, though, you can't beat somethingawful.com and the hot-bed of viciousness and hilarity that is its forums - best $10 I ever spent :) Not for the young or easily-offended, though :D
