Hi, well about a few months back, you guys might have seen the username "Shoot3r101". You all know him right? Yeah, well, you all know him because he was a *******. And I just want to say:( that was me... I created a new account, looking to start over again, and be more mature and hopefully become friends with everyone and have no foes. Well here is my confession and apology to all those, I am terribly sorry about the way I acted in the past. And if you guys still hate me, I don't blame you. The fact you show remorse for whatever happened shows great morality - many people never apologize for their mistakes and it is saddening as it demeans them further. Very much of life, in my opinion, is about intention...

You where not banned. As far as I know opening duplicate accounts is against forum policy but I might be wrong so maybe just let the staff/admin people know.

Apologies, I was not aware that a permanent ban did not result in burnt beans. I know ther are tempory bans etc. All I was trying to say was for the OP to check with staff. Once again I apologise, it was not my intention to convey incorrect information.

No need to apologise! There are two types of bans. The kind an admin does (which I am not sure of the specifics, but it can include IP bans) which results in burnt beans, and the kind moderators can do. 15 active infraction points results in a ban. Infractions can expire, but they can be permanent. (15 points that do not expire is the infraction for spam, which we call a "spam ban"). If infraction build up to 15 and are active, it is a ban. If they don't expire (and are not reversed) it is more or less permanent. It used to be, way before I was a moderator, that only admins could do any sort of bans and mods had to request it. This made spam very hard to control (even then) so it was changed.

This seems like a 12 step apology to all the people you need to apologize to. Hey man good for you in recognizing something in yourself that bothered, and seems to have needed clearing to make yourself whole. If we all did that we would have better interactions in general. It is so hard to look at yourself rather than project on others. I have never seen anything posted under your old name but I just wanted to congratulate you for this move forward for your personal psyche.
