View Full Version : [SOLVED] Forum makes "inappropriate" suggestions when adding tags.

Well i dont know how often this happens. I just tried to add 'brainstorm' as a tag to one of my posts but only got as far as 'brain' before the drop down list suggested 'brainf**k' as an option.

It doesnt bother me but i thought there would have been a filter for stuff like this.

There is an actual programming language with that name. We don't like it either, but there you go...now you know.

Aaah, i feel enlightened. I just assumed it was suggesting what others had previously suggested. Funny.

Well, can tags like on this thread (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=662770) be removed? I'd hate to see Ubuntuforums be a place where you get inundated with mindless garbage like this. There are other places on the interwarbs for that kind of eGraffiti.

There are other places on the interwarbs for that kind of eGraffiti.Between the moment when I read the tags and when I hit the "edit tags" button, another staff member had deleted the offensive tags. I think this shows how seriously we take this issue.

In the future, when you find something like this, just report the post and mention that there is an offensive tag and we will deal with it quickly.
